College Scholarships

Each student at The Vision has the opportunity to receive a top quality education in a nurturing, supportive environment. We give our best to ensure that our students can reach the goals and dreams that God puts in their hearts.

StepUp for Students

This is the best first step for most parents. Begin applying the year before classes start, since the money is given out on a first-come first-served basis. When the money runs out, the scholarship closes for the year. Even if it seems like you saw this too late, sign up for the waiting list.

Mackay Scholarship

If your child has an IEP, this might be an excellent choice for you. If you have been told that the school wants to test your child, then your child might soon qualify for this scholarship after the testing process is completed. We welcome this scholarship, as well.

Florida AAA Scholarship

This is another income-based scholarship available for students in the state of Florida. Again, this scholarship has a deadline, so be sure to sign up as early as possible.

Florida School Choice

This is the State of Florida organization that is dedicated to helping parents control their children's education. They provide information about available scholarship opportunities, options, and they also provide support to schools and families. Please use this amazing resource if the other two links cannot help you.

We meet all State of Florida qualifications for staff requirements. Each teacher has expertise in their subject area, and above all, they have a gift for teaching.

College & Career Testing

State colleges have lower costs. For students who are eligible for free lunch, a federal Pell Grant should cover most of their college costs. Often, it covers everything. Pell Grants do not have to be paid back, and you can get one by filling out the application.

Valencia College

This college has programs usually for two years or less.

University of Central Florida

UCF is a local university. It is a large school with a lot of subjects that you can study.

Technical College

Residents of Orange County can attend this school, where most careers take about a year.

The FAFSA is the most important first step on your college journey. The PELL Grant and every other scholarship starts here. After you fill out this FAFSA application, you have an opportunity to qualify for all the other scholarships. You do not have to pay back a Pell Grant.

State of Florida Application
Fill this out to qualify for Bright Futures and several other State of Florida scholarships. This is the second most important scholarship form you will fill out before college.
